All hail Team Hen’s July Hen of the Month: the lovely Becky! (@beccabellla) Nominated by her sister Kristy (@kristynorbury) the bride tribe’s back-garden, gin-infused hen party proved you don’t have to jet-set off to exotic climates to throw a truly epic hen party in style. With a big back garden at their disposal (not to mention a hot tub, pizza oven and seriously Instagram-worthy gin bar), sometimes a change of hen party plans can be a good thing!
We caught up with Kristy (Becky’s sister) to get the low-down on the event…
Q1. When / Where was the hen party?
“Originally we were jetting off to Marbella. We had to change plans but were so lucky that my Aunty and Uncle have a big back garden (and know how to throw an epic party!). We had a hot tub, pizza oven, and even a bar serving up the brides favourite cocktails.”
Q2. Were there any activities?
“We had the usual hen do games and a video from the groom. In the end we didn’t do all the activities I had planned - when you have amazing company (we had the best group of girls), the night flies by!”
Q3. The bride wore….
“Her Team Hen Bride t-shirt the night before, an off-the-shoulder split leg dress from Lavish Alice for the main event and a bikini to bed (she didn’t make it to the hot tub!).”
Q4. Is there a song that reminds you of the hen party?
“Lizzo - Good As Hell. “Becky how you feeling?!””
Q5. What would your advice be to anyone planning a hen party?
