60 Mr & Mrs Quiz Questions for Your Hen Party
Of all the hen party games out there, the Mr & Mrs quiz is the one that never fails. It's simple to set up, everyone can join in, and nothing gets a room laughing quite like the bride confidently announcing her fiancé's favourite food… and being completely wrong.
We've pulled together 60 Mr & Mrs questions for your hen party, from sweet to a little bit cheeky, plus everything you need to know to run the quiz on the night. Planning a Mrs & Mrs hen? Every question works just as well – simply swap the pronouns.
How to play the Mr & Mrs quiz
- Pick your questions. Choose 15 to 25 from the lists below. Any more and the game starts to drag; any fewer and it's over before the fizz is poured.
- Ask the groom in secret. A week or two before the hen, the maid of honour sends the questions to the groom (or grabs him for a coffee) and records his answers. Filming him on your phone makes the reveal even funnier.
- Quiz the bride. On the night, read each question aloud and let the bride answer before you reveal what the groom said.
- Add a forfeit. For every wrong answer, the bride takes a sip, puts on another accessory or pops a sticker on her face. Keep score and see how she does.
Short on time? Our Hen Party Games Pack includes a ready-to-go Mr or Mrs quiz alongside five other games, with one pack per hen.

Tips for the best Mr & Mrs quiz
- Read the room. Mix sweet and cheeky questions based on who's there. If the mother of the groom is joining you, save the cheeky round for later.
- Film the groom. Playing his answers on a phone or TV gets bigger laughs than reading them out.
- Get the hens involved. Before the bride answers, let the group shout out their guesses too.
- Make it a keepsake. Write the answers on cards for the bride to take home. Our Pearls of Wisdom Advice for the Bride Cards are lovely for collecting messages from the whole squad, too.

Mr & Mrs quiz FAQs
How many Mr & Mrs questions should we ask?
Around 20 is the sweet spot. It takes about half an hour, which keeps the energy high without dragging on.
What if the groom won't take part?
Ask a close friend or family member who knows him well, or swap to a "Who knows the bride best?" quiz, where the hens compete to answer questions about the bride.
Can we play over video call?
Absolutely. Share the groom's video on screen and let the bride answer live, which is ideal if some of the hens can't be there in person.
