HEN PARTY DECORATIONS
Set the scene for the hen
How to decorate for a hen party
Good hen party decorations are about focus rather than quantity. Pick two or three areas of the room and make them look brilliant, instead of spreading a little across every wall.
Three spots to prioritise
- The entrance: the first thing guests see sets the tone for the whole stay.
- The photo wall: choose a spot with good light and enough space for the whole group.
- The table: where you'll eat, drink and play games, so it ends up in lots of photos.
Timing is the bit people often forget. If you're staying in a rented house, check your arrival time and give yourselves at least an hour to set up before the bride turns up. Assign jobs, as one person on the photo wall and another on the table is far quicker than everyone doing everything.
Read the house rules on fixings too. Removable hooks and tape are your best friends, and many holiday lets don't allow pins or glue on walls.
